Mohamed Zidan featured for Borussia Dortmund in Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Mainz but his second-half introduction couldn't help the Bundesliga leaders get back to winning ways. The Egypt forward replaced Kevin Grobkreutz on 69 minutes when his side were maintaining a slender lead. But Petar SliSkovic brought the score level one minute from time to end the match in a stalemate. Dortmund's Mats Hummels netted the opener only after eight minutes. Zidan, who plied his trade at Mainz from 2005 until 2007, couldn't make a notable impact in the game. After shaking off a rib injury, he made his comeback against Hoffenheim a week ago in a league match that saw Dortmund's unbeaten run end. Dortmund remain on top of the Bundesliga table with 62 points, ten clear of closest rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
