Galal Ibrahim has resigned as the chairman of Zamalek due to the financial crisis the club is going through. Ibrahim, who has been appointed on a temporary basis in September 2010, has yet to make an official announcement about his decision though. FilGoal.com has learnt that the pressure he is facing from employees inside the club is the main reason behind his decision. Several employees inside the Cairo club have protested against low wages following the January 25 Revolution in Egypt. Meanwhile, Zamalek board member Tarek Ghoneim indicated that the club's officials will work hard to persuade Ibrahim to backtrack on his decision as soon as possible.
