An injury-time header from Japan defender Maya Yoshida denied Jordan victory in the AFC Asian Cup as the Arabs settled for a 1-1 draw. The Jordanians took the lead with a deflected shot from Hassan Abdul-Fattah before the break and were on brink to claim the first victory for Arabs in Qatar. But their incessant resistance was broken in the 92nd minute when center-half Yoshida rose unchallenged in the six-yard box to grab the equalizer. Jordan and Japan take one point apiece in Group B as Saudi Arabia meet Syria later on Sunday.
