Zamalek defender Mahmoud Fathallah does not believe that some players' lack of continental experience would be a hurdle in the team's CAF Champions League campaign. The Whites return to Africa's top club competition this season, with the likes of Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, Ibrahim Salah, Hussein Yasser and Ahmed Gaafar set for their Champions League debuts. “Some supporters are worried that a number of players have no experience in the Champions League, but this is a false assumption,” Fathallah told FilGoal.com. “I think it represents an extra motive for them. We have a balanced squad between youth and experience and this will help us.” Zamalek have been drawn against Kenyan minnows Ulinzi Stars in the round of 64, but are facing a tricky challenge en route to the group stage. Hossam Hassan's side are on course to play against Club Africaine of Tunisia and Sudanese giants Hilal in the last 32 and 16 respectively.
