Ahli are seeking to end their four-match winless run by downing Harras Hodoud in a postponed Egyptian Premier League match on Tuesday. The title holders have only claimed three points from their last four games, having drawn with Gouna 1-1 and embarrassingly lost 3-1 to bitter foes Ismaili under Hossam Al-Badri last month. Abdul-Aziz Abdul Shafi 'Zizo' took charge of Ahli on a temporary basis after Al-Badri resigned as head coach but is yet to lead the Cairo giants back to winning ways. Under Zizo's management, Ahli played out a 1-1 draw with Smouha before drawing once again with Ittihad 2-2. All four matches were held away from Cairo, unlike the Hodoud game which Ahli will host. The six-time African champions will try to capitalize on their home advantage to claim all three points. Team News Sayed Moawad and Mohamed Fadl have recovered from their respective injuries to ease Ahli's woes. Left-back Moawad was nursing a calf injury while striker Fadl suffered from exhaustion.
Barakat out through injury But Zizo's side were dealt a blow with the news that influential midfield duo Mohamed Barakat and Hossam Ashour are both unfit. Barakat is yet to shake off a knee problem whereas Ashour is still struggling with an ankle injury. hitmen Mohamed Ghaddar and Francis Doe are also injured. Veteran Ahmed Hassan is still on the road to recovery after sustaining a cruciate ligament tear early in September. Three-pronged Attack On the other hand, Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri said he will face Ahli with a three-pronged attack. "Pape Latyr Ndiaye, Ahmed Eid and Ahmed Mekki will start upfront," he told FilGoal.com. "There won't be big changes to our usual starting line-up, but we have Mohamed Halim back from suspension." Al-Ashri, who will miss the game due to a one-match touchline ban, also revealed that wing-back Mohamed Mekki has been excluded from the match after agreeing terms with Wadi Degla last week. Ahli are in fifth place with 20 points, seven adrift of leaders and arch-rivals Zamalek and three ahead of cup winners Hodoud.
