Zamalek have accepted an offer from Iranian side Shahin Bushehr to sign unsettled striker Emad Mohamed on a six-month loan deal when the transfer window re-opens in January. Emad has been anything but settled since moving to the Cairo side in the close season after ending a spell at another Iranian club in Sepahan Esfahan. He made few substitute appearances with the club before revealing his desire to depart 'after failing to adapt to life in Cairo'. "We agreed to loan out the player for six months for a fee of $350,000," Zamalek chairman Galal Ibrahim told FilGoal.com. "We will send Emad's International Transfer certificate to Bushehr once we receive the money." Zamalek coach Hossam Hassan and his twin brother, football director Ibrahim, objected to the move, saying it would neither benefit the club nor the player. But interim chairman Galal gave Emad the green light to depart, citing Zamalek's persistent financial problems which are still threatening to deprive them of some key players including Mahmoud Fathallah, Shikabala and Hani Saied. Emad went AWOL a month ago after having his initial request to terminate his deal with the White Knights turned down by the board. He also joined up with Iraq to play in the Gulf Cup of Nations without the consent of Zamalek. Zamalek's squad includes two other foreigners in Ghanaian out-of-favor midfielder Ibrahim Ayew and Ivorian striker Abou Kone.
