Video: Last-gasp Ibrahim gifts Zamalek invaluable win
Published in FilGoal on 21 - 11 - 2010

Second-half substitute Mohamed Ibrahim scored deep into injury time to give Zamalek an invaluable 1-0 victory over Masri, which cemented the Cairo side's place on top of the Egyptian Premier League table.
The pacey 18-year-old midfielder, who was introduced six minutes from the hour-mark, netted the precious winner with a well-placed shot after feinting past a challenger and eluding another in the 94th minute.
Zamalek could have broken the deadlock earlier if it wasn't for some magnificent saves by Masri goalie Amir Abdul-Hamid.
The Whites are now the league leaders with 24 points, six clear of closest rivals Ahli who lost 3-1 at Ismaili earlier on Sunday.
Evenly-balanced Affair
The first half was pretty much an evenly-balanced affair but neither side manage to carve out many clear-cut scoring chances.
Skillful player Mahmoud Abdul-Hakim tried to capitalized on a Omar Gaber defensive lapse in the area but the Zamalek midfielder eventually cleared the danger.
Afterwards, Ahmed Gafaar headed a Shikabala free kick only to miss the target. He also wasted a one-on-one chance on the half-hour mark, thanks to a brave obstruction from Abdul-Hamid.
Masri striker Abdoulaye Cisse wasn't anywhere near his best, failing to finish off the coastal side's attacks.
Zamalek winger Hazem Emam came on as a substitute on the stroke of halftime when he replaced Alaa Ali, who sustained an injury.
The introduction of the diminutive Emam paid off in the second half.
More Energetic
Both teams became more energetic after the break.
Emam wreaked havoc down the right flank, whipping in a number of crosses.
Zamalek's Abou Kone was introduced on 73 minutes but barely delivered the goods upfront.
Ibrahim eventually made the difference and hit a delightful goal that gave Zamalek a vital win.
