Botswana edged closer to their maiden African Cup of Nations appearance after registering a 1-0 home victory over Tunisia on Wednesday. Jerome Ramatlhakwana scored the precious winner on the stroke of halftime as Botswana beat Tunisia for the second time in Group K of the 2012 Nations Cup qualifiers. North African giants Tunisia slumped to a 1-0 loss to tiny Botswana when both sides met in the group opener in July. Botswana's second victory over Tunisia helped them tighten their grip on the five-team group with 13 points from five matches, six ahead of the second-placed Carthage Eagles. Malawi, who played one game less than Tunisia, are third on six points. The group winners and runners-up will qualify for the Nations Cup, which will be played in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
