Cameroon needed an own goal to draw 1-1 at home to DR Congo in the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifiers on Saturday. They secured a share of spoils after the visitors' defender Kulikuta scored an own goal in the 54th minute. Cameroon's Indomitable Lions top Group E with four points, three more than DR Congo. However, Senegal, who have three points, could leapfrog them if they beat Mauritius later in the day. In Group J, Angola claimed a 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau to atone for their 3-0 defeat by Uganda. Former Ahli and current Lierse SK winger Gilberto converted a penalty midway through the first half to give Angola all three points. Ivory Coast made it two wins out of two in Group H with a narrow 1-0 win over minnows Burundi. A free-kick by Romaric gave the Elephants, who were missing injured Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou and his rested club teammate Didier Drogba, a second consecutive victory.
