Ismaili's Farag eyes Europe return
Published in FilGoal on 26 - 08 - 2010

Ahmed Samir Farag's explosive start to his Egyptian Premier League campaign with Ismaili reignited his hopes of returning to Europe next season.
The left winger scored three goals in as many games to help Ismaili, who finished third last season, bag maximum points and occupy second spot in the table, behind surprise package Military Production on goal difference.
He unsettled opponents with his trademark left-footed shots to fill the void left by the injuries of influential attacking midfielders Abdullah Saied and Omar Gamal.
"My thoughts are always filled with goals. I want to score in every game," Farag told FilGoal.com on Thursday.
"I want to make the most of my good luck and score more goals this season."
A brace from Farag gave 10-man Ismaili a 2-1 victory over Petrojet last week and he followed that up with the strike that handed the Dervishes a win over Gouna by the same scoreline few days later.
Europe Objective
The 24-year-old hopes his form can attract European suitors as he eyes a repeat of the adventure he had with French Ligue 1 side Sochaux in 2005.
"My objective is to return to Europe. I want to do that next season if I receive a good offer," he added.
"I will not leave Ismaili unless I get a chance to play in Europe. I feel very comfortable here."
Farag is also hoping that Egypt coach Hassan Shehata will consider recalling him to the Pharaohs' squad ahead of next month's African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The former Ahli youngster was part of the Egypt squad that took part in last year's FIFA Confederations Cup but was left out of the team's triumphant Nations Cup campaign last January.
"I want to return to Egypt's squad as soon as possible," Farag concluded.
