Barcelona wizard Lionel Messi bagged a hat-trick to help the Catalans down Sevilla 4-0 and claim the Spanish Super Cup for the second time under Pep Guardiola, ninth in history. Sevilla, who had beaten Barca 3-1 in the first leg, seemed to be completely helpless while facing a star-studded Barcelona side at Nou Camp. The Argentina star doubled his side's lead six minutes from the half-hour mark when he latched onto a Xavi Hernandez through to go one-on-one with the keeper and slot home.
