Left-back Ahmed Abou-Mosallam has joined Military Production on a three-year deal after terminating his contract with Ismaili, the club said on Thursday. "We've finalized the deal to sign Abou-Mosallam on Thursday morning. He will join the team's pre-season training camp immediately," Production director Reda Ghoneim told FilGoal.com. The 28-year-old left Ismaili by mutual consent last month after failing to prove his worth at the coastal club. He moved to Ismaili in the summer of 2009 but could not take overtake Ahmed Samir Farag as the team's regular left-sided midfielder. Former Egypt full-back Abou-Mosallam, who came through the ranks of Dina Farms, played for Cairo giants Ahli from 2001 till 2005. He then had two spells in France with Strasbourg and Ajaccio before joining Ismaili. Production have also signed Masri's Malian striker Bakary Coulibaly on a free transfer. Coulibaly joined Masri last January but the four goals he scored in his few appearances did not convince the Port Said side that he was good enough to remain at the club. Production made a fine impact in the Egyptian Premier League after sealing promotion last season, finishing seventh in their first top-flight experience.
