Goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari might miss Ismaili's African Champions League clash against Sudan's Hilal due to illness. The Egypt guardian missed Ismaili's training on Thursday after catching a cold, three days before his side face Hilal away from home in the first leg of the competition's round of 16. Ismaili's medical team is doing its best to help him recover in time for the game, the club said on their official website on Friday. Al-Hadari, who was involved in a dispute with the club's board earlier this season over his late dues, also missed both legs as Ismaili defeated Tamponnaise of Reunion Island 3-2 on aggregate to book a last-16 berth. Stand-in keeper Mohamed Sobhi will deputize for Al-Hadari against Hilal if the veteran goalie misses the match. Sobhi, who extended his Ismaili contract in January, produced some fine displays between the sticks in Al-Hadari's absence.
