Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola admitted he would have preferred a team other than Inter Milan in the Champions League semis. A Lionel-Messi-inspired Barca crushed Arsenal 4-1 on Tuesday as Inter cruised past CSKA Moscow to set up a meeting with the champs. "They (Inter) are a stronger than ever right now. They are really focused on this competition and that makes them more dangerous," Guardiola said. "They are competitive and all of their players have got what it takes to compete at this level – I would have preferred another team." Barca played against Inter twice in the group stage, holding the Italians to a goalless draw in Milan and winning 2-0 at Nou Camp.
Mourinho Confident Inter boss Jose Mourinho said his team are full of confidence ahead of the crunch meeting by the end of the month. "It's a total change from Inter's history in the Champions League in recent years," said the Portuguese. "The mentality is right. We are a team with confidence and ability. Anything can happen in the semi-final or final, but next year the first foot Inter will put in this competition will certainly be full of confidence. "If we don't win this year, Inter will win in a few years time because this is the path."
