Angola and Shabab striker Flavio Amado said he would run back to Ahli if the Egyptian champions approached him in the near future. Flavio, who spent four glamorous seasons in Cairo, left for Shabab last summer after announcing his desire to leave the Red Devils. "It (Ahli return) will be most welcomed. Ahli are a club that gave me everything. If they want me I would run back," Flavio told Emirate magazine Super. While speaking of his love for his old club, the 30-year-old rubbished his reported link with the Ahli's arch-rivals Zamalek. "There was no contact with Zamalek and I don't think I would ever join them because I love Ahli and my spell with the club was the best in my career," he added. "I owe Ahli. I know that Ahli fans love me and I have the same feeling for them, so out of respect for the fans, I would never join a rival club." Flavio enjoyed a fine debut season with Shabab as he scored eight league goals for the Riyadh outfit, who finished fourth of the Saudi league.
