Hussein Yasser's goal that set Zamalek on their way to a 2-0 Egyptian Premier League win over Military Production is the most valuable one in his career, he said on Wednesday. The attacking midfielder, who joined Zamalek in January after ending a disappointing spell at their arch-rivals Ahli, bamboozled opposing defense with his trickery to steal the show at Cairo Stadium. He burst into Production's box and overcame his challengers on several occasions but could not apply the finishing touch until the 35th minute when he stepped inside his marker and beat keeper Mostafa Kamal with a low shot. It was his first goal with the Cairo side but he says he has a lot more to offer. "It is the most valuable goal in my life, I've waited for it for a long time and finally it came," Yasser, an Egyptian-born Qatari international, told FilGoal.com. "I'm determined to produce even better displays in the coming matches." Yasser, who had an unsuccessful spell with English Premier League side Manchester City in 2005, found it difficult to play first-team football at Ahli under their former coach Manuel Jose and current one Hossam Al-Badri. He invoked his buy-out clause with the Red Devils to join Zamalek with the hope of kick starting his career. He has now become an integral member of coach Hossam Hassan's plans. "I will try to give it my all under the guidance of Hassan," the 26-year-old concluded.
