Zamalek coach Hossam Hassan urged his men not to be distracted by the Ittihad fans during their trip in Alexandria. The White Knights are visiting the coastal outfit in the Egyptian Premier League on Monday, and the home fans are widely expected to be aggressive. Ittihad's attacking midfielder Mohamed Nagi 'Geddo' is understood to have penned a contract with Zamalek after signing an extension at his current club, which prompted a judicial dispute between both sides. Later on, The Egyptian FA have ruled against Zamalek and in favor of Ittihad, while the 25-year-old is set to be fined for a contractual breach. Ittihad's fans will most likely respond to the drawn-out saga by out-and-out hostility towards the Cairo giants on Monday. "Hossam Hassan called on all players not to be affected by anything outside the pitch," a Zamalek statement reads. "He stressed that concentration is the key to victory, and told them to ignore any possible taunts." Geddo has become an Ittihad role model since this year's Nations Cup, where he netted five goals to be named the competition's top scorer. Apart from the controversy surrounding the international ace, the game is deemed critical for both teams. Zamalek lie fifth on 27 points in the league table, one clear of six-placed Ittihad.
