Dutchman Guus Hiddink will take charge of Turkey in the summer, the Turkish Football Federation announced on Wednesday. Hiddink's contract as Russia manager runs out in June and the 63-year-old said he will quit after failing to qualify for the 2010 World Cup. Turkey, who also failed to make the South Africa finals, have been looking for a manager after Fatih Terim quit last year. Hiddink's new contract with the Turks should go on until June 2012 as he will be presented to the media in the upcoming few days. The former Holland coach had a brief spell with Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the early nineties.
