Ahli playmaker Amir Sayoud is set to join Kuwait's Arabi Athletic in the winter transfer window on a four-month loan deal. The Red Devils announced on their official website that the loan offer for the Algerian youngster has been accepted. According to Kuwaiti paper Al-Kabs, Arabi will pay $ 150,000 to bring in Sayoud till the end of the current season. The 19-year-old, who joined Ahli last summer, has featured for the Cairo titans only for few minutes but came across as a very promising schemer. However, the talented midfielder turned into an outcast after the recent tension between Egypt and his native country Algeria. As emotions ran high in Cairo, Ahli fans called for the 'deportation' of Sayoud who was later quoted as saying in Algerian press that he received death threats.
