Cameroon captain Samuel Eto'o believes the Lions played a great game against Egypt, implying that the latter were fortunate to win on Monday. Egypt beat Cameroon 3-1 in the African Cup of Nations quarter-final, once again upsetting Eto'o and Co. "This is football. Today (Monday), I believed we delivered a great game and we deserved a different result than the defeat. But we played and Egypt has won," the Inter Milan striker said. Egypt, who are on course to win a third straight title, beat Cameroon twice in CAN 2008, including the final in Ghana. Hassan Shehata's team have also denied the Lions from making the 2006 World Cup, following a famous 1-1 draw in 2005 which eventually sent Ivory Coast to the Germany finals.
