Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama saved a spot kick and converted another to help his side beat Zambia 5-4 in a penalty shootout to reach the African Cup of Nations semi final on Monday. The Hapoel Tel Aviv guardian blocked Thomas Nyirenda's effort before scoring the decisive penalty himself as two-time winners Nigeria booked a last-four berth for the fifth time in 10 years. The normal and extra time ended goalless after both sides failed to find the net in a dull affair. Chances were few and far between but outsiders Zambia were the livelier side throughout the game. Nigeria had Onyekachi Apam dismissed in the 106th minute for a second bookable offense. The Super Eagles will face Ghana, who beat hosts Angola 1-0, in the semi final on Thursday.
