Chelsea are set to be without Nicolas Anelka in their next two Premiership games with Birmingham and Fulham due to a calf injury. "Nicolas has a little injury, it's a muscle problem. It is a small problem but he is not ready to play these games," said Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti. Anelka missed Sunday's draw with lowly West Ham, forcing Ancelotti to introduce youngster Daniel Sturridge. However, the 20-year-old impressed the Italian tactician after earning the penalty that secured a draw for the Blues. "I think Sturridge is in very good condition," added Ancelotti. "He has a good opportunity to show his quality. He played against West Ham very well and maybe against Birmingham he can play from the beginning."
