Stuttgart keeper Jens Lehmann is in hot water after his latest antic that cost his side dearly in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Mainz. Just as Bundesliga strugglers Stuttgart were on brink of grabbing their first win since September, Lehmann, nicknamed 'Mad Jens', cheaply gave away two points with a childish act. With the ball in his hands, the 40-year-old stamped on the foot of Mainz striker Aristide Bance, conceding a silly penalty and receiving his marching orders as well. He was also seen confronting a supporter on his way out of the pitch. Lehmann's antics capped a turbulent week for the former Germany number one, who was fined €40,000 for criticizing his club's board, following the sacking of Marcus Babbel last week. In addition to that, the former Arsenal keeper was embarrassingly caught by television cameras taking a toilet break in Stuttgart's recent Champions League win over Unirea Urziceni. Unnecessary Lehmann is now facing disciplinary measures by his employers, who are obviously unhappy with his behavior. "That was unnecessary. I will talk to him about it. It is a delicate situation," said new Stuttgart coach Christian Gross. "I know Jens Lehmann as a footballer, but not yet as a person." Sporting director Horst Heldt added: "I cannot imagine that. He will be suspended, but he still has a contract until June 30, 2010. "It is a shame that it came to this because he had made some fantastic saves. I am going to have to have a word with him."
