Bayern Munich boss Louis van Gaal has set the record straight that Italy striker Luca Toni should start looking for a new club. Toni has publicly stated his desire to leave Bayern after his relationship with Van Gaal had reached a dead end this season. "I have nothing to discuss with Luca Toni anymore. He has stated that he wants to leave Bayern, so he could start looking for a new team," Van Gaal told Corriere dello Sport. "It's too late to come up with excuses now. He should have thought about that before. He has made the decision to behave in a certain way and there's no way back now. "He didn't meet our expectations this season and he's no longer needed at Bayern Munich." Toni, 32, is likely to return to the Serie A, amid reported interest from Inter Milan and Roma.
