Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted that Robin van Persie's long-term injury will prompt the Gunners to look for other attacking options in January. Van Persie, Arsenal's top scorer in the Premier League, has been ruled out for five months after damaging ankle ligaments while on international duty last month. "Van Persie's injury has to affect my thoughts for January," Wenger told Arsenal's official site. "I didn't feel we were needing to buy anybody but we will be out in the market, that is for sure." Disrespectful Wenger was left to bemoan the injury of three of his international players during the previous break, which he believes to be an unacceptable situation. "We lost (Nicklas) Bendtner, (Abou) Diaby and Van Persie during this break and I believe that we paid a heavy price for it," the Frenchman added. "We will take action, of course. We will not accept that situation. Our players go away, they are injured. "A player like Diaby goes away and is injured and you cannot even get him back because they decided to keep him. It is disrespectful to the clubs."
