Mido and Mahmoud Fathallah are back to boost Zamalek in Sunday's league clash with Police Union. On-loan Middlesbrough striker Mido failed to make the squad in last week's defeat to Ghazl Mahalla for 'fitness reasons'. However, manager Henri Michel revealed after the game that it was a rather disciplinary decision to oust the 26-year-old from the match squad. Center-half Fathallah is also back after more than a two-month absence with a dislocated shoulder. The Egypt defender could start in place of the suspended Amr Al-Safti, who was sent off against Mahalla. Amr Zaki is sidelined with a hamstring injury, Sabri Rahil is suspended, while Ahmed Fathi 'Bougi' and Ibrahim Salah were dropped.
Ahmed Al-Merghani and Mohamed Abdul-Shafi return, whereas playmaker Shikabala was included despite being involved in another post-match spat with fans.
