Algeria defender Antar Yahia is eager to take part in his nation's crucial World Cup qualifier with Egypt even if he was informed that he can't play for a year. The Bochum center-half has been ruled out for two weeks with a foot injury, which means he is set to miss the Egypt clash on November 14th. However, Yahia declared he is not ready to just watch the game at Cairo Stadium. "Even though my club said that I need two weeks to recover, I will play against Egypt no matter what," Yahia was quoted by Elhaddaf newspaper on Thursday. "I am determined to play this game even they told me that I need a year to recover, not just a couple of weeks." Yahia is currently undergoing extensive rehab in an attempt to catch the qualifier, which could well see the Desert Foxes through to South Africa. Algeria already have a number of uncertainties ahead of the Egypt clash, including Madjid Bougherra, Karim Ziani and Mourad Meghni.
