Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez revealed that Steven Gerrard is still suffering from the groin injury which he picked up early in October. The talented midfielder took no part in the Reds' last two games as a result of the problem that he sustained while being on international duty with England. Gerrard will most likely miss Liverpool's trip to Fulham, while some reports suggesting that he needs to undergo surgery to overcome the injury. On the other hand, Fernando Torres is expected to play against Fulham, although he has yet to fully recuperate from a similar groin injury. "Both have to keep going," said Benitez. "Gerrard is still working with the physio so we will see. "Hopefully, Torres will be okay, but for Gerrard maybe it more difficult."
