Ahli Benghazi announced the signing of Ateya Al-Belkasi from their Egyptian namesake on a loan basis till the end of the current season. The Libyan side stated on their official website that the 25-year-old had put pen to paper on Sunday noon. From his side, Al-Belkasi voiced his satisfaction over the new deal, saying he's looking forward to his new adventure. The Egyptian defender is expected to make his Libyan league debut on Thursday against Ittihad. Al-Belkasi has become the third Egyptian footballer to ply his trade in Libya, as Ibrahim Saeid has recently joined Ahli Tripoli while Hossam Fathi plays for Al-Tahadi.
