Beckham close to Milan return

David Beckham is on his way back to AC Milan from LA Galaxy, following a successful loan spell with the Italians last term.
Beckham, 34, is desperate to make England's squad for the 2010 World Cup and a return to San Siro will enhance his chances.
"There are other options available, but none that will stop me going to Milan. It is close to being finalized," the former England captain told the Mail.
"I had a marvelous time there. They're a great club."
Beckham was also linked with Tottenham, but the former Manchester United star ruled out a return to the Premiership.
