Barcelona spank Gijon as Ibrahimovic scores on debut

Barcelona's summer arrival Zlatan Ibrahimovic marked his Primera Liga debut with an impressive headed goal, as the Catalans opened their title defense with an easy 3-0 home win over Sporting Gijon on Monday.
The Sweden striker, who moved to Nou Camp from Inter Milan, scored Barca's third with a diving header, connecting with a deflected Daniel Alves cross eight minutes from time.
Starlet Bojan Krkic and Mali ace Seydou Keita notched similar goals before the interval on 17 and 42 minutes respectively.
The match was supposed to be held earlier, but it was postponed due to the European champions' Super Cup game with Shakhtar Donetsk on Friday, which Barcelona won 1-0.
