Harras Hodoud will still face a stiff test against Ahli in Sunday's Egyptian Premier League game despite beating them in the Super Cup, coach Tarek Al-Ashri said on Saturday. The Egyptian Cup winners caused an upset by overcoming league holders Ahli 2-0 in the season curtain-raiser. Hodoud host the Red Devils, who got maximum points from two games, in Alexandria with many suggesting they can emerge winners again. "This match will be more difficult than the Super Cup," Al-Ashri told FilGoal.com. "Ahli have greatly improved since then. They are now successfully implementing the 4-4-2 formation." Hodoud were the first team to deploy that strategy, earning plaudits for a string of impressive displays next season. Ahli followed in their footsteps but were heavily criticized after suffering several defeats in pre-season friendlies. Hodoud will have to do without striker Ahmed Abdul-Ghani, who scored three goals in two matches but will not be available due to automatic suspension.
