Harras Hodoud coach Tarek Al-Ashri is keeping his fingers crossed over the fitness of central defender Hani Saied ahead of Sunday's Egyptian Premier League clash against Ahli. With defender Ahmed Assem already out of the anticipated game due to injury, Al-Ashri is hoping Saied can shake off his complaint in time to play against league holders Ahli. "Our medical staff is doing their best to help Saied recover in time for the match," the highly-respected coach, who steered Hodoud to the Egyptian Cup title last season, told FilGoal.com. "His condition will be assessed on Saturday night to know whether he can play or not." Ahmed Kamal is likely to partner Egyptian international Ahmed Saied 'Ouka' in the heart of Hodoud's defense if Saied misses the match. The military side will also have to do without their top scorer Ahmed Abdul-Ghani, who will serve an automatic one-match suspension. Hodoud, who beat Ahli in the Super Cup, will be looking to prevent the Red Devils from maintaining their 100% start to the season. Ahli defeated Ghazl Mahalla and Police Union in their first two games while Hodoud drew with Police and overcame Gaish.
