Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o is relishing playing for his new club Inter Milan, but assured he's yet to reach peak from. The 28-year-old has just moved to the Serie A giants from Barcelona, and is widely expected to make a tangible impact at San Siro. Eto'o scored on his Inter competitive debut in Saturday's Super Cup match against Lazio, who won the game 2-1. Although the loss was quite depressing for the Nerazzurri fans, Eto'o revealed his admiration for Inter's playing style. "I am satisfied with the way we played, we always controlled the tempo, kept the ball and lifted the team. We created many scoring opportunities," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "The goal was good, but it would have been more important to win. Having said that, a goal never hurts one's confidence. "If we always play the way we did against Lazio, I hope to score many more and I'm having fun with Inter." Good Shape Eto'o conceded that he needs more time to adapt to his new outfit and feel compatible with his teammates. "To score more I need to learn the new tactical movements, because this is a very different way to how I am used to playing," he added. "I am certainly not close to 100 per cent and could not be at the start of August. To be in good shape you need at least a month of training, while I have only been here for just over a week."
