Bayern Munich ace Franck Ribery has resumed full training for the first time in four weeks, the Bundesliga club said. Ribery has almost missed Bayern's pre-season program due to a nagging knee injury he sustained with France last year. "I hope he stays fit now and makes us an even better team," Bayern captain Mark van Bommel told the club's official site. New boy Ivica Olic has also returned to training, but the Croat, along with Ribery, is unlikely to start in the Bundesliga opener with Hoffenheim at the weekend. Dutch coach Louis van Gaal indicated that he will name an unchanged side than that who beat Neckarelz in the German Cup last week. Italy striker Luca Toni is the only absentee from training though as he's still struggling with a groin strain.
