Portsmouth turn to striker Piquionne

Portsmouth have loaned French international striker Frederic Piquionne for one season from Lyon, the Premier League club said.
Pompey, who are set to be bought by Arab tycoon Soliman Al-Fahim, have an option to buy Piquionne permanently for €4.5million next summer.
The Premier League club opted for the giant hitman after they failed to agree a deal with Egypt and Zamalek striker Amr Zaki.
Zaki is now set to stay with Zamalek, even so his agent Nader Shawki said he still has hope of securing a European move before the end of August.
However, Shawky admitted that it would be 'very difficult' for the ex-Wigan forward to return to England if he completed the season in Cairo.
