Zamalek's newly-signed striker Ahmed Gaafar scored twice as his side outclassed Palestine's Shabab Rafah 5-0 in a pre-season friendly on Thursday. The towering frontman opened his Zamalek scoring account after joining from relegated side Telecom Egypt in the close season. Left-back Sabri Rahil, midfielder Ayman Abdul-Aziz and winger Shikabala were also on the scoresheet as the White Knights claimed an easy victory over Rafah. Amr Zaki, who is linked with a move to Spain's Malaga, wasted an early penalty before receiving a straight red card midway through the first half for an off-the-ball challenge on an opponent. Brazilian striker Anderson took part in the game as he is being monitored by Zamalek coach Michel Decastel. The Swiss tactician was not impressed with the team's new signing during the past friendlies and reportedly asked the club to offload him. Ghanaian striker Nana Eshun, who undergoes a trial at Zamalek, also participated in the game.
