Ahli have signed 17-year-old striker Reda Bekhit, who previously played for Libyan club Ittihad, the Red Devils announced on their official website. The youngster penned a three-year contract, as Ahli are likely to register him among one of the club's youth teams. Bekhit became out of contract bye the end of last season after the Libyan parliament decided to end professional football within the country. Such decision paved way for many young Egyptians, who were plying their trade in Libya to return and join Egyptian Premier League clubs on free transfers. Ahli earlier snapped up former Nasr defender Saad Samir, while Zamalek are nearing the capture of Ahmed Ezz Al-Regal, who played for Hilal in the Libyan leage last season.
