Hosts South Africa just need a draw to ensure their progress to the Confederations Cup semi-final but the world's top-ranked team Spain stand in their way. South Africa lie second in Group A with four points, two behind leaders and tournament favorites Spain. Iraq, who drew with South Africa in their opening game before losing to Spain, are third on one point while already-eliminated New Zealand lie at the bottom after failing to bag a single point. A draw for South Africa against Spain, who already booked a last-four berth, will be enough to send them through to the semis. Iraq will have to beat New Zealand and hope European champions Spain overcome South Africa. Goal difference will determine who will go through if Iraq and South Africa finish level on points. Records Spain secured their semi-final place but a win over South Africa still appeals to them as they chase some records. If they defeat Joel Santana's side, they will surpass the mark of 14 consecutive victories they share with Australia, France and Brazil. The European champions will also stretch their unbeaten run to 35 games to equal Brazil's record if they prevail over South Africa. "Being qualified means I can make some changes, but winning is still the most important thing," Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque said.
