Manchester United eased to a 2-0 Premiership win over Manchester City on Sunday to regain top spot in England.
First-half goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez sealed the 83rd point for Alex Ferguson's team, who maintained their three-point lead over Liverpool.
The Premier League's top scorer Ronaldo took his tally to 19 goals when he fired in one of his swerving freekicks on 18 minutes.
Tevez, who announced earlier that he'll leave Old Trafford this summer, doubled the lead two minutes from the break with a wonderfully-placed shot from 25 yards.
The in-form Ronaldo was taken off on the hour mark, but was anything but satisfied as he headed to the bench.
United will visit Wigan in midweek, and a win at JJB could see them edge closer to a second straight title.
