Franck Ribery hinted on Thursday that he could leave Bayern Munich if the club failed to qualify for next season's Champions League. "The priority for the club is to ensure at least second place and to qualify directly for the Champions League," Ribery told French sports daily L'Equipe. "It would effectively be difficult for me to stay if we don't reach this goal." The French winger has been linked with a host of high-profile clubs over the past few months but Bayern stated more than once he was going nowhere. But the German giants' stuttering form apparently prompted Ribery to consider his future at the Allianz Arena. Bayern were knocked out of the Champions League after suffering an embarrassing 5-1 aggregate defeat to Barcelona. The Bavarians, who also exited the German Cup, lie third in the Bundesliga table on 54 points, three behind leaders Wolfsburg with five matches remaining. A third-place finish will deny Bayern an automatic place in the Champions League. They will have to enter a qualifying phase instead.
