ENPPI battered Red Arrows 4-0 in the CAF Confederation Cup second round on Saturday to leave the Zambian side with a mountain to climb in the second leg. Ayman Saied opened the scoring on 21 minutes, before influential first-half substitute Adel Mostafa added the second five minutes after the interval. Ahmed Raouf hit a brace on 56 and 60 minutes to complete the rout. ENPPI took a stranglehold on the game right after the kick-off, and eased up a bit after Saied hit the opener with an unstoppable long-range shot. The visitors threatened the Egyptian side for a while midway through the first period, but didn't have the necessary cutting-edge to bring the score level. ENPPI coach Anwar Salama put his men in pole position again by sending Mostafa into battle. The in-form midfielder notched ENPPI's second after the restart upon converting a free-kick, and also set up frontman Raouf twice. Mostafa whipped in an inch-perfect cross from the left to allow the 26-year-old to head home. Another accurate left-flank cross from Mostafa set Raouf to notch a carbon-copy goal.
