Werder Bremen playmaker Diego has agreed to join Juventus, an Italian report said on Saturday. Turin-based paper Tuttosport claimed that Italian giants Juventus are in advanced negotiations with Germany's Bremen to sign the Brazilian international. After months of speculation over his destination, Diego reportedly has his eye set on a switch to the Bianconeri. Juventus have been long-term admirers of the 24-year-old as they seek to find a replacement for Pavel Nedved. Czech midfielder Nedved said he would retire from professional football at the end of the season. Diego has been a revelation at Bremen since joining from Portuguese giants Porto in 2006. He attracted a host of suitors over the past two years.
