Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos said his side must pick themselves up as quickly as possible following their embarrassing elimination from the Champions League. The Spanish champions failed to reach the competition's quarter-final for the fifth consecutive season after being humbled by Liverpool. The Reds routed Real 4-0 at Anfield to advance with en emphatic 5-0 aggregate victory. Ramos is fully aware that Real will have to win the Primera Liga if they are to avoid ending the season empty handed. "The team is sad and unhappy. We must think about the next match and not keep our heads hung," the Spanish coach said after the game. "We must go back out there and fight for the league with all our might. We will do whatever it takes to finish as high as we can in the table." Real are second in the league table with 57 points, six behind leaders and arch-rivals Barcelona with 12 matches to go.
