Essam Al-Hadari's Sion slipped to the relegation zone after suffering a 3-2 defeat to Neuchatel Xamax in the Swiss Super League on Sunday. Midfielder Sebastien Wuthrich put Neuchatel ahead on the hour mark. A brace from Ideye Aide Brown on 70 and 80 minutes killed off Sion's hopes of getting something from the game. Sion's Costa Rican striker Alvaro Saborio scored twice in stoppage time but his efforts were just consolation. Despite conceding three goals, Egypt keeper Al-Hadari put in a fine display and prevented Sion from suffering an embarrassing defeat as he thwarted many attempts from the hosts. Sion, who failed to build on their 1-0 victory over Vaduz last week, lie third from bottom in the league table with 21 points.
