Ittihad have signed Ghanaian international midfielder Ibrahim Abdul-Razak from Liberty Professionals, the Alexandrian club said on Wednesday. Abdul-Razak was on trial with Taha Basri's team during the past few days, and has obviously impressed the Ittihad boss. Chairman Mohamed Moselhi said that the 25-year-old signed a one-and-a-half year deal for $150,000 as Ittihad offloaded his compatriot Al-Habib Mohamed. Abdul-Razak had several spells in Europe with the likes of Aalborg (Denmark), Empoli (Italy) and St.Ettiene (France). The defensive midfielder played six times for Ghana and took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Ittihad have now completed the three slots allowed for foreign players, having signed Awuleye Quaye 'Junior', in addition to Cameroonian striker Zambou Rollin Achille.
