Ittihad are on the verge of signing Ahli midfielder Wael Reyad ‘Cheetos', club president Mohamed Moselhi said on Thursday. "We have a preliminary agreement with Reyad and we will hold talks with Ahli over the transfer fee," Moselhi told FilGoal.com. Ahli-bound Cheetos spent the last season on-loan to Haras Al-Hodoud. The 27-year old midfielder is looking for a move away from the Red Devils as he has a few chances of playing next season following the new arrivals at the club. Ahli made some major signings such as Egypt Captain Ahmed Hassan and Qatar international Yasser Al-Mohammadi to strengthen their midfield. Meanwhile Moselhi said that he will have a meeting with manager Taha Basri to discuss the team's future and needs. The Alexandrian side signed Qanah defender Amr Abdul-Salam and extended the contract of Youssef Abdul-Rehim for another season worth EGP450 000.
