Harras Hodoud have qualified for the final of the Egyptian Cup for the first time ever, thanks to a 2-1 win at Asyut Petroleum on Tuesday. Egypt forward Ahmed Eid gave the visitors a 21st minute lead with a delicate lob. Substitute Ahmed Mekki sealed the victory for the Alexandrians five minutes from time when he finished off a terrific team move from 12 yards. While Hodoud players were celebrating the goal, Asyut took advantage to snatch a lifeline via striker Sami Abou-Zeid. Abou-Zeid marched his way into Hodoud's empty area before firing home past Mathurin Kameni. But it was too late for Mohamed Amer's team to get back into the game. Hodoud will clash in the final with last year's finalists ENPPI, who beat Petrojet 3-1 on Monday.
