Ahli playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika will be out of action for between two and three weeks due to a knee injury. The 30-year-old flew to Germany on Wednesday to see a knee specialist as he sought to find out the reasons behind his troublesome complaint. He was advised to rest in order not to aggravate the niggling knee injury that notably affected his displays recently. Abou-Treika, who will return to Egypt on Sunday, will definitely miss Ahli's rescheduled Egyptian Premier League game against Harras Hodoud on Monday. Earlier on Friday, the Egyptian international was named the 2008 BBC African Footballer of the Year.
