Money not issue as City open Kaka talks
Published in FilGoal on 14 - 01 - 2009

Manchecster City are determined to run the rule over Brazil and AC Milan ace Kaka, whereas the latter needs more than just an astronomical bid to seal the move.
According to Italian media reports, the Premier League side sent a delegation to Italy in order to work out the details of the deal, which could be a world record transfer.
The big-spenders are expected to pay a fee of £ 100 million to acquire Kaka's services.
"This time they (City) are here for real with an official delegation," the Mediaset website, owned by Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, mentioned on Wednesday
"Manchester City want Kaka at all costs and they have shown their cards.
"Garry Cook, two representatives of Sheik Mansour and Kia Joorabchian, who is acting as a mediator, met with Adriano Galliani and Ernesto Bronzetti (Milan chief executive and commercial director) and made their offer."
Not Only Money
On the other hand, Kaka's spokesman Diogo Kotscho said the 26-year-old hitman wouldn't move to City only for a lucrative bid.
Kotscho revealed that City would have to demonstrate how ambitious they are in order to lure the Milan star.
"To accept Manchester City, Kaka wouldn't do a matter based on money", he told Corriere dello Sport. "But to the competitiveness of the English side.
He also assured that Kaka would never follow in the footsteps of his compatriot Robinho, who joined City from Real Madrid last summer for a £ 32.5 million offer.
"Ricky would like a strong side. He would never do something like Robinho, who, just to earn more, contented himself with not a winning solution," he concluded.
